The star of CW’s Arrow has took to Twitter to announce his possible “candidacy.”
On Sunday at the MTV Video Music Awards, the famously outspoken Kanye West mentioned a Presidential run in 2020 at the end of his strange rant while accepting the Video Vanguard Award.
Just before literally dropping the mic, Kanye stated, “And yes, I have decided in 2020 to run for president!”
Amell, who is a Canadian citizen, has thrown his hat into the ring, tweeting “If Kanye runs for President, I’ll run for Prime Minister of Canada.”
Arrow returns to the CW for Season 4 on Oct. 7.
